Drug Rehab

Drug rehab has come a long way from times when their agenda was strictly based solely on behavioral change. We now know this was a short term cure, as patients shortly returned to their drug addiction. It is now known that drug addiction is a disease negatively impacting the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the human being. All three components require rehabilitation for the patient to enjoy a full recovery.  At Lakeview Health Systems we provide holistic drug rehab to treat the whole person.

Drug Rehab Components

Drug Detoxification - This drug rehab treatment component provides patient medical stabilization and management of drug withdrawal symptoms.

Inpatient Drug Rehab - Inpatient drug rehab is a level of care where an individual resides within the drug rehab program 24 hours a day and receives a full day of clinical care. This clinical care can include, but not be limited to; individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, relapse prevention and aftercare.

Partial Hospitalization - Partial hospitalization in a drug rehab allows for the patient to reside in supportive housing and attend clinical services at the drug rehabilitation program. This level of care is not immediately appropriate for all people - most transition from the other levels of care first.

Intensive Outpatient Rehab - Outpatient drug rehab is not for everyone. To attend outpatient rehab an individual should be in the early stages of drug abuse or use, have a healthy living environment and be motivated for recovery. If they relapse in outpatient rehab, they are likely a candidate for inpatient drug rehab and detox.

Drug Rehab Success

An incredible percentage of people that enter drug rehab achieve a full and long lasting recovery. Drug rehab success is found when the individual is motivated and willing and provided the necessary addiction treatment services to meet their specific needs. For drug rehabilitation to succeed, it must be individualized for each and every patient, while having a full complement of clinical services. While each drug rehab uses a different set of criteria to measure success, we do know that the longer a patient stays in a drug rehab, the better the chances are of a full recovery.
