Dr. Martin Zfaz
Medical Director

Dr. Martin Zfaz is a physician at Lakeview Health Systems. Involved in the field of addiction treatment for the last 22 years, Dr. Zfaz is certified by the American Medical Society on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies, is a member of the National Council on Alcoholism, as well as, International Council of Alcoholism and Addiction Medicine. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Zfaz has also been a preferred addiction treatment provider for the Texas Rangers, Cincinnati Reds and the Commissioner of Baseball's Assistance Team. Dr. Zfaz graduated from "Facultad de Medicina, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico" 1961. Obtained Board Certification in Addictionology in 1987. Is a member of the American Medical Association on Alcoholism and other Drug Dependancies.

Dr. Raul Soto-Acosta
Psychiatrist

Dr. Acosta completed his psychiatric residency at Albert Einstein's College of Medicine in 1993. A board certified psychiatrist and a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Acosta provides the patients at Lakeview Health Systems with any psychiatric support they may require. Dr. Acosta has been a member of the Lakeview family for the last three years.

Jim Matney, L.M.H.C., C.A.P.
Staff Development and Compliance Director

Jim Matney is Lakeview Health Systems' Staff Development and Compliance Director. Mr. Matney, who has been working in the field of addiction treatment for the past 15 years, is a certified addiction professional and licensed mental health counselor. Jim has been with the Lakeview family since its inception.

Lynn Powell, LCSW
Clinical Director

Lynn Powell is Lakeview Health Systems' Clinical Director and has been in the field of addiction and mental health counseling for the last 25 years. With a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a Master's in mental health counseling, Lynn brings a wonderful blend of experience to the Lakeview Health program. Lynn has been with Lakeview Health Systems for the last four years, receiving numerous accommodations, which resulted in her promotion from primary therapist to her current role as Clinical Director.

Krista Plandel
Director of Human Resources

Graduated from the University of Washington in 1994 with a BA degree, Psychology. In 1999 Earned her Certificate in Human Resource Management from Linfield College. In 2002 recieved her Professional in Human Resources, PHR, from the Society of Human Resource Manangement.

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

BSN from Adelphi University in 1977. MSN, Clinical Nurse Specialist Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, 1987. Completed requirements for certification as an ARNP in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
